Our Church
Sacred Heart Church currently serves a community of families in the heart of Havertown, PA. We welcome all to our community.
Our church is handicap accessible with entrances at the front and rear of the church off the parking lot.
Mission Statement
We the Sacred Heart Parish Community, knowing we are sustained by the Eucharist, dedicate ourselves to:
- Forming a prayerful and worshiping community
- Educating all in Christ’s Wisdom formed in and through the Gospel
- Living our Faith in today’s society

Pastoral Plan
Through prayer and reflection on our Mission Statement and discussion of its various elements, the Parish Pastoral Council evaluated the parish’s strengths, resources, limitations, and needs. In light of this, the Council recommends these pastoral priorities and goals for our parish:
- To expand and enhance education/formation for all parishioners (cradle to grave)
- To develop a spirit of Stewardship
- To study and promote the Catholic Church’s social teachings.

Sacred Heart Catholic School, Manoa, Havertown, Pennsylvania was founded in 1928 and is staffed by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Immaculata, Pennsylvania and a lay faculty. The nature of Sacred Heart Catholic School is twofold – Religious and Academic, serving the educational needs of children from preschool through grade eight, based on curriculum established by the Office of Catholic Education of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
